Capture 360 is built with privacy-first architecture. All camera capture, speed ramping, slow-motion video rendering, audio mixing, and export processing take place 100% locally on your device. We never upload, transmit, or store your recorded booth videos on our servers.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimal data necessary to deliver a reliable event experience:
- Account Information: If you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your basic profile info (display name, email address, and profile photo URL) to authenticate your account. If you choose Guest Mode, an anonymous identifier is generated locally.
- Event Configuration & Metadata: Event titles, booth timing settings (countdown, recording duration, slow-motion speed parameters), audio track preferences, and overlay template settings are synchronized to your account so you can manage events seamlessly.
- Pass & Entitlement Data: Purchase receipts and active pass durations are recorded to verify your access tier (Silver, Gold, or Platinum).
- Diagnostic & Crash Data: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic telemetry (e.g. OS version, device model, app crash logs) to diagnose unexpected errors.
How We Use Your Information
We utilize the collected information strictly for:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Capture 360 booth workflow.
- Authenticating your user session and syncing your event presets across devices.
- Verifying and managing active Access Passes and subscription entitlements.
- Troubleshooting device-specific performance and optimizing video processing speed.
Data Storage & Security
Account metadata and event configurations are stored securely on Google Firebase Cloud Firestore with encrypted in-transit (TLS/SSL) and at-rest protection. Google Firebase complies with industry-standard data security benchmarks, including SOC 1/2/3, ISO/IEC 27001, and GDPR.
Device Permissions
Capture 360 requests the following hardware and system permissions exclusively for core booth operations:
- Camera (
CAMERA): Required to record high-frame-rate videos from the 360 revolving rig. - Microphone (
RECORD_AUDIO): Required if you choose to record ambient audio during video capture. - Photo Library & Media (
READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE,READ_MEDIA_VIDEO): Required to export finished MP4 videos directly to your device photo gallery and import custom logo/overlay templates.
In-App Purchases & Payment Security
All transactions for Non-Renewing Access Passes (1-Day, 7-Day, 30-Day) are handled directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never receive, process, or store your credit card or financial account numbers.

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to provide reliable backend, authentication, and in-app purchase infrastructure:
Data Retention & Permanent Deletion
Your account profile and event settings are retained for as long as your account remains active.
Children's Privacy
Capture 360 is intended for event operators, video booth businesses, and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, you have the right to access, rectify, port, or request the deletion of your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time using the in-app account tools or by contacting our support team below.
